Cryptomeria globosa nana is a dwarf conifer with a unique texture and year-round appeal. It can be grown in miniature landscapes, rock gardens, and pots. It is relatively low-maintenance and hardy in USDA Zones 6-9. However, it is a slow grower and will only reach about 4 feet tall. This dwarf conifer is excellent for foundation plantings and mixed borders.
